<p>(<b>A</b>) <b>Kinetics of differentiation</b>. The percentages of the amoebae resistant to 0.05% sarkosyl during encystation are shown. Values are presented as % encystation and represent the mean ± S.D. of two independent experiments conducted in triplicate. (<b>B</b>) <b>Flow of analysis</b>. Microarray data were obtained in triplicates from <i>E</i><i>. invadens</i> exposed to 47% LG medium for 0, 0.5, 2, 8, 24, 48, or 120 h, and genes expressed in at least one time point were selected for further analysis.
