<p>Uterine arteries were isolated from nonpregnant (NPUA) and near-term pregnant (PUA) sheep maintained at sea level (control) or exposed to high-altitude hypoxia for 110 days. PDBu-induced concentration-dependent myogenic vasoconstrictions were determined in the absence or presence of tempol (100 µmol/L). Data are means ± SEM of tissues from 4–6 animals.</p
