The mice were immunized orally with 10⁹ CFU of BRD509, BRD <i>fljB</i>⁺<i>fliC</i>^<i>+</i> and boosted with BRD <i>fljB</i>⁺<i>fliC</i>^<i>+</i>. A group inoculated with PBS was used as a control.
