Induction of cell apoptosis by silvestrol.

<p>PLC/PRF/5 HCC cells were seeded onto 4-well chamber slide (25,000 cells/well) and were incubated with 100 nM silvestrol for 24 hours. Apoptotic cells were detected by fluorescence microscopy after DAPI staining. The proportion of cells showing morphological features of apoptosis were counted. *, <i>p</i> < 0.05, t-test.
