<p>Representative cross-sections of extraocular muscles have been provided at three different anatomical locations. All four recti muscles in patients harbouring single, large-scale deletions or multiple DNA deletions were atrophic compared with controls. Slice locations: I = 4 mm behind slice II towards the orbital apex; II = central slice; III = 4 mm in front of slice II towards the extraocular muscle insertions onto the globe.</p
