<p>Results of temperature monitoring over time of a specimen of reduction mammoplasty. The specimen was subdivided in three parts that were stored under three distinct conditions, i.e. vacuum sealed at room temperature (RT), vacuum sealed at 4°C, cooled at 4°C without vacuum sealing. VPAC produced a more rapid decrease of temperature than non-VPAC procedures, while vacuum sealing at room temperature did not significantly affect temperature decrease. The * indicates statistically significant differences (p = 0.005 at 1 hour, p = 0.013 at 2 hours).</p
