<p>Proliferation of T47D (A), MCF7 (C) and MCF10A (E) cells and the number of dead T47D cells (B), MCF7 (D) and MCF10A (F) cells were measured three days after irradiation. Cells were seeded at a density of 10<sup>5</sup> cells/mL three days before irradiation. Hormonal treatment was performed two days before irradiation and every day afterwards. <i>Pg</i>: progesterone, <i>Mif</i>: mifespristone, <i>E2</i>: estrogen, <i>Inh</i>: PD173074. Results are representative of at least three independent experiments. Error bars represent standard deviation. Asterisks denote significant differences (<i>t-</i>test, *p<0.05, **p<0.01).</p
