BrdU incorporation in NG2-derived neurons.

<p>BrdU was continuously provided in drinking water from the first day of TX injections until sacrifice 28 days later. Hu+/Tom+/BrdU+ triple positive cells were identified in the hypothalamus (arrows/arrowheads in <b>A</b>), and confirmed by 3D reconstruction from confocal Z-stacks (<b>B,C</b>; marked by arrows in <b>A</b>). There was no significant difference (p>0.05) between the proportion of Tom+ cells that also contained BrdU, and the proportion of Tom+/Hu+ cells that also contained BrdU (<b>D</b>).
