<p>The red characters in the sequences indicate methylation CpG sites of the <i>maspin</i> gene. Unmethylated CpG sites of <i>maspin</i> were detected only in placental tissue. Methylated CpG sites of <i>maspin</i> were detected in placental tissue and maternal blood cells.
