Abstract

<p>BGN mRNA was investigated in 76 patients with bladder cancer by RT-qPCR and compared to non-malignant bladder tissue. A significant elevation of BGN mRNA expression was detected in muscle-invasive compared to non-invasive tumors (<b>A</b>) and in high-grade compared to low-grade tumors (<b>B</b>). Furthermore, BGN mRNA expression correlated with increasing tumor stage (<b>C</b>). n=76 patients, *<i>p</i><0.05, ***<i>p</i>=0.0003.</p
