Effect of chronic exposure of mice to NNK on carrier-mediated [³H]-thiamin uptake by primary pancreatic acinar cells.

<p>Primary pancreatic acinar cells were isolated from mice exposed to NNK (10 mg/100 g body weight, 26) and from their pair-fed controls. Carrier-mediated thiamin uptake was determined as described in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0078853#s2" target="_blank">Methods</a>. Data are mean ± SE of at least 3 separate uptake determinations from multiple sets of mice. *<i>P</i><0.01.
