MicroRNA 126 (miR-126) inhibits cell proliferation, migration and invasion of colorectal cancer cells.

<p>(A) HT-29 cells were transfected with various amounts of miR-126 mimic or negative control (NC) mimic and cell proliferation was analyzed using Cell Counting Kit-8. The miR-126 mimic showed dose-dependent effects on inhibiting cell proliferation after transfection for 48 h. (*<i>P</i><0.05, compared to that of NC mimic). Data are presented as mean ± SEM of three independent experiments. HT-29 cells were transfected with 50 nM of miR-126 mimic or NC mimic (B) and HCT-116 cells were transfected with 100 nM of miR-126 inhibitor or NC inhibitor (C), migrated cells stained by 0.1% crystal violet were counted 48 h after transfection (×200).
