SP-A Enhanced Flagellin Stimulated IL-1β Production.

<p>Concentrations of IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α, were assessed in the media of MH-s cells following stimulation with SP-A alone, flagellin or flagellin with SP-A. IL-1β, but not IL-6 or TNF-α, production was enhanced by flagella with SP-A after the 60min stimulation. Data is expressed as pg/ml and represent mean ±SEM, with n=6-10 separate samples/group. *p<0.05, *p<0.01, ****p<0.0001 when analyzed by Kuskal-Walis ANOVA followed by Dunn’s multiple comparison test.
