FANCA stimulates the 5’ flap endonuclease activity of FEN1 by enhancing enzyme efficiency.

<p>Steady-state analysis was perform by increasing the flap substrate concentration (0, 2, 6, 20, 60, 200 nM) and fixing amounts of FEN1 (0.2 nM for DNA flap, 0.1 nM for RNA flap) and/or FANCA (10 nM) in three independent FEN1 endonuclease assays. V_max is determined as described in “Material and Methods”. Error bars represent stand errors.
