AS-A subcellular localization in <i>T. brucei</i> bloodstream forms.

(B) For digitonin permeabilization, selected supernatant (S) and pellet (P) fractions obtained at different digitonin concentrations were subjected to Western-blot analysis and probed with rabbit antisera raised against <i>Tb</i>AS-A, enolase (cytoplasmic marker) and aldolase (glycosome marker). Data shown is representative of two independent experiments. Untreated cells (0 µg/ml of digitonin) and those completely permeabilized in Triton X-100 0.5% were used as controls.
