<p>mRNA expression was assessed in lean and obese dam offspring (A–H) fed either control or high fat diets (HFD) from weaning through PND35 (N = 3–5 animals per group, Lean-Con 2AM and Obese-HFD 6AM (N = 5 per group), Lean-Con 10AM and Obese-Con 10PM (N = 3 per group), and all the remaining groups (N = 4)). Gene expression was assessed via real-time RT-PCR. All genes were normalized to SRP14 and expressed relative to Lean-Con at 6AM.
