Free radical-induced oxidation of phospholipids contributes significantly to pathologies associated with inflammation and oxidative stress. Detection of covalent interaction between oxidized phospholipids (oxPL) and proteins by LC-MS/MS could provide valuable information about the molecular mechanisms of oxPL effects.
