<p>N.B.: Each regression is controlled for gender, age, marital and professional status and educational level.</p><p>ORs in bold are significant at 0.05 level.</p><p>The reference category for predictive variables is “No use” for illicit drugs or “Non-problematic use”, i.e. CAGE (cut-down annoyed guilty eye-opener) negative for alcohol.</p><p>Data from the 13,015 respondents aged 45–64 were not analysed because of very low illicit drug use levels.</p><p>OR: odds-ratio; CI: confidence interval.
