Compound C improves survival of endotoxemic mice.

<p>Mice (19–20 animals per group) were administrated with 20 mg/kg of body weight of LPS (filled circles), 500 mg/kg of body weight of AICAR with LPS (open triangles), 25 mg/kg of body weight of compound c (CC) with LPS (open circles), or AICAR plus CC and LPS (filled triangles) as described in Methods. The mice were monitored for lethality every 2 hour for up to 24 hours.
