<p>All of the tested cell wall synthesis-related genes but not <i>CHS7</i> were up-regulated in either <i>Δlrg1</i> or <i>Δpax1</i> mutant. <i>CHS1</i>, MGG_01082; <i>CHS2</i>, MGG_04145; <i>CHS3</i>, MGG_09551, <i>CHS4</i>, MGG_09962; <i>CHS5</i>, MGG_13014; <i>CHS6</i>, MGG_13013, <i>CHS7</i>, MGG_06064; <i>GLS1</i>, MGG_00865. Ku70, <i>Δku70</i>; Ku80, <i>Δku80</i>; LR80, <i>Δlrg1</i>; LP55, <i>Δpax1</i>. Statistical data were calculated from three independent experiments conducted in triplicates.</p
