<p>The T-loop phosphorylation was determined by kinase assay. The bars in the diagram are: (1) lipofectamine + buffer; (2) lipofectamine + α<sub>2</sub>M* (50 pM/20 min); (3) lipofectamine + dsRaptor RNAi (100 nM/48 h) or dsPDK1 RNAi (100 nM/48 h) then α<sub>2</sub>M*; and (4) scrambled dsRNA (100 nM/48 h) then α<sub>2</sub>M*. The Akt phosphorylation is expresed as fmol [<sup>33</sup>P]-γ-ATP incorporated/mg cell protein and is mean ± SE from three to four independent expermients in each case.</p
