Microarray screen for differentially expressed genes in DRGs from E14.5 <i>TrkAC-KI</i> embryos reveal a number of genes potentially responsible for NGF-dependent axonal growth.

<p>(A) Results of microarray experiment comparing gene expression between DRGs from <i>TrkAC-KI</i> and control E14.5 embryos. 28% of identified genes encoded for cell-cell interaction and cell adhesion molecules, and 21% for trafficking and post-translational modification proteins. Non-coding genes, as well as genes with both up- and down-regulated probes, were excluded from the data set presented in this figure (123 genes). Ret is downregulated 2 fold in our microarray.
