The number between the parentheses indicates the number of different proteins/unigenes in each species (sugarcane<sup>a</sup>, sorghum<sup>b</sup> and rice<sup>c</sup>). The number outside of the Venn diagram indicates no-hit transcripts and the number of transcripts<sup>d</sup> that mapped to the sorghum genome.</p
