Fibrinogen and IgG Fc region binding to <i>S. aureus</i> bacteria is not specifically influenced by the native LPETG substrate incorporation.

<p><i>S. aureus</i> 8325-4 WT and <i>srtA</i> KO strains were grown until exponential growth phase in LB and BHI medium in the presence of the native or scrambled LPETG substrates. After 3 PBS washes, the bacteria were incubated with fluorescently labelled (A) IgG Fc region or (B) fibrinogen. The IgG Fc region and fibrinogen binding was analysed with FACS.
