<p>BBM were isolated from mucosal scrapings before (basal) and after mice received the glucose gavage (gavage). Samples were stained for GLUT2 and protein levels were quantified by densitometry. Values representing fold changes are expressed as mean ± SEM. Statistical analyses were performed using one-tailed unpaired t-test ± Welch’s correction<sup>a</sup> for comparison of GLUT2 protein expression before and after glucose gavage in wild type and knockout mice, respectively. N = 3 mice per group.</p
