<p>Banked PBMC were phenotyped based on CD14 and CD16 cell surface expression into four MO subsets: [classical (CD14<sup>++</sup>CD16<sup>−</sup>); intermediate (CD14<sup>++</sup>CD16<sup>+</sup>), non-classical (CD14<sup>+/low</sup>CD16<sup>++</sup>), and transitional (CD14<sup>+</sup>CD16<sup>−</sup>)] and CD14-CD16- cells using a multiparametric panel of conjugated monoclonal antibodies that identified the HLA-DR<sup>+</sup> PBMC live cell population.</p
