t-STAT1 in CD4 and CD8 T cell subsets from HIV-infected patients.

<p>PBMCs from a longitudinal cohort of HIV-infected individuals (n = 10) were analyzed by flow cytometry before and after suppressing viremia to <50 copies/ml with cART for intracellular expression of t-STAT1. (<b>a</b>) Gating strategy to assess t-STAT1 expression in T cell subsets, using CD27 and CD45RA as markers of naïve (CD45RA⁺ CD27⁺) and memory (CD45RA⁻ CD27⁺) CD4 (CD3⁺ CD4⁺) or CD8 (CD3⁺ CD4⁻) T cells.
