TAMs from MCA-OVA tumors have significantly more arginase activity compared to TAMs from MCA-E1A-OVA tumors.

<p>RAG deficient mice were administered 1×10⁶ MCA-205-OVA or MCA-205-E1A-OVA tumor cells, and WT mice were given 1×10⁶ MCA-205-OVA tumor cells. After tumors reached approximately 15 mm, tumors were excised and digested, and CD45⁺CD11b⁺ F4/80⁺GR-1⁻ macrophages were purified by FACS and tested for arginase-1 activity at a concentration of 1×10⁵ TAMs per 100 μL of lysis buffer using a colorimetric assay.
