A broadband inphase power divider for C-band applications is presented. The proposed divider utilises broadside microstrip/slot coupling. The proposed design is especially suitable for multilayer technology, where the two output ports are located at different layers. Simulated and measured results show that the proposed device has 3.4±0.2 dB insertion loss, better than 10 dB return loss and isolation across the C-band (4–8 GHz)
