CCN2 activates FAK, MEK, and ERK survival signaling pathways during chemoresistance.

<p>(A) Protein expression was examined by western blotting. (B & C) Cells were transfected with FAK, MEK, and ERK mutants or pretreated with FAK inhibitor (10 µM), PD98059 (10 mM), and U0126 (10 µM), followed by stimulation with cisplatin for 24 h. Cell survival ability and apoptosis were examined by MTT assay and PI staining. Each experiment was done in triplicate.
