<p>The generation of transgenic mice containing the <i>FXN-EGFP</i> genomic reporter construct in a murine <i>Fxn</i> knockout background was analyzed by PCR. The 615 bp band corresponds to the EGFP sequence in the <i>FXN-EGFP</i> transgene; the 520 bp band corresponds to the endogenous wild type murine <i>Fxn</i> gene; the 245 bp band corresponds to the <i>Fxn</i> knockout allele.
