Treatment with T0901317 reduces OVA-induced mucus production.

<p>Lung tissues were fixed, sectioned at 4 μm thickness, and stained with Periodic Acid Schiff for mucus production (magnification ×200). The PAS-positive epithelial cells (black arrows) and PAS-negative epithelial cells (red arrows) were counted. (A) Control group, (B) OVA group, (C) DEX group and (D-F) T0901317 group (12.5, 25, 50 mg/kg bodyweight). The percentage of PAS-positive cells per bronchiole (G) was calculated.
