<p>The executable algorithm is run in the host machine: the pairwise-alignments stage communicates with an external host program, which schedules the alignments among tiles. The clustering stage is executed in the host, and the progressive-alignment stage is controlled by the host, by calculating each profile alignment in the Tile64 microprocessor.
