Pathology results of renal cortex sections.

<p>IRI groups showed remarkable changes on tubular structures detected by HE staining <b>(A)</b>. Disrupted brush borders and flattened epithelia were observed at 24 h after IRI, which indicated apparent tubular damage. Epithelial cell proliferation changes were observed at 72 h after IRI. Tissue structures recovery were observed at 120 h after IRI <b>(B)</b>. The pathology scores of the IRI groups significantly increased 24 h after IRI, and were sustained higher than sham operation groups 120 h after operation (*P<0.05, IRI compared with sham).
