<p>The models are subjected to a load applied to both canines, with bite force scaled based on theoretical body mass. Species modeled were (A) <i>Dasyurus hallucatus</i>, (B) <i>Dasyurus maculatus</i>, (C) <i>Sarcophilus harrisii</i>, (D) <i>Nimbacinus dicksoni</i> and (E) <i>Thylacinus cynocephalus</i>.
