IgE enhances smMLCK expression in HASM cells through FcεRI.

<p>(<b>A</b>) HASM cells were serum-deprived for 48 h and then stimulated with IgE 5 μg/ml. Shown is fold increase in smMLCK mRNA level in IgE-stimulated HASM cells compared to unstimulated cells at corresponding time points. (<b>B</b>) HASM cells were stimulated with IgE 5 μg/ml for 48 and smMLCK protein expression was assessed by western blotting. The intensity of smMLCK band was normalized with that of β-actin. The shown blot is representative of three different experiments. (<b>C</b>) Cells were pretreated with anti-FcεRI mAb15/1 for 1 h before stimulation with IgE. MOPC21 was used as an isotype control.
