<p>Gene expression profiles of endothelial relevant genes were evaluated to analyze endothelial turnover. VE-cadherin, Tie-2 and KDR mRNA expression was analyzed using RT-PCR, PAI-1 and VEGF protein expression was analyzed using a protein array. PCR analyses were performed in triplicates and for protein analyses, pooled samples from each group was measured in duplicates.
