This data shows that the high spiking in some neurons apparent in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0088254#pone-0088254-g001" target="_blank">Figure 1</a> is not homogeneous over time, but results from epochs of much higher than average firing.</p
