For each plant and leaf type, replication was: n = 15 for G- and P-type <i>B. vulgaris</i> and <i>B. rupicola</i>, n = 13 for NAS-type <i>B. vulgaris</i>, n = 10 for <i>B. verna</i>, and n = 5 for <i>B. vulgaris</i> var. <i>variegata</i>.</p
