Mean ± SE glucosinolates (µmol/g of leaf fresh weight) concentrations in cotyledons and true leaves in plants of <i>B. rupicola</i>, <i>B. verna</i>, G- and P-type <i>B. vulgaris</i> var. <i>arcuata</i>, NAS-type <i>B. vulgaris</i>, and <i>B. vulgaris</i> var. <i>variegata</i>.

<p>Abbreviations for glucosinolates are: (<i>R</i>)-2-hydroxy-2-phenylethylglucosinolate (R2OH2PE), (<i>S</i>)-2-hydroxy-2-phenylethylglucosinolate (S2OH2PE), indol-3-ylmethylglucosinolate (I3M), 4-methoxyindol-3-ylmethylglucosinolate (4MOI3M), and 2-phenylethylglucosinolate (2PE).</p><p>For true leaves, the largest true leaf of each plant was taken. For each plant and leaf type, replication was: n = 15 for G- and P-type <i>B. vulgaris</i> and <i>B. rupicola</i>, n = 13 for NAS-type <i>B. vulgaris</i>, n = 10 for <i>B. verna</i>, and n = 5 for <i>B. vulgaris</i> var. <i>variegata</i>.
