<p>Cardiomyocytes were incubated with indicated concentrations of VO-OHpic for 20 min, and stimulated with or without 100 µM H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> for 20 min. Phosphorylation of Akt in cardiomyocytes was detected by phosphorylation specific antibody. Equal loading of Akt was confirmed by stripping and reprobing with Akt antibody (n = 4). #<i>p</i><0.05 and *<i>p</i><0.01 vs. H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub> alone.</p
