The Timepix hybrid silicon pixel detector [1,2] is protected by an acrylic casing developed by the Design and Technology department at the Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys [3]: a) the lens cap, held in place with kapton tape; b) the High Voltage (HV) connection socket (top); c) the silicon sensor element, visible through the lens cap; d) the USB interface box, visible through the casing, and; e) the CERN@school Mk1 casing.</p> <p>This figure is <strong>I000070</strong> in the CERN@school document inventory.
