GFP-tagged BcBem1 localizes to the cytoplasm, the septa and the hyphal tips.

<p>A <i>gfp-bcbem1</i> fusion was expressed from the constitutive <i>A. nidulans oliC</i> promoter in the Δ<i>bcbem1</i> background. Bottom row shows co- staining of the septae with calcofluor white (CW) (from left to right: GFP, CW, overlay, DIC). For fluorescence microscopy, conidia were incubated for 18 h in GB5 +2% glucose on microscope slides. White arrows indicate septa, grey arrow indicates tip localization. Scale bars = 10 µm.
