<p>HEK293 cells were transfected with: (A) HA-tagged NFATc3 and either p300 or control (pcDNA3.1) vectors for 24 h; (B) HA-tagged NFATc3 and either SIRT1 or control (pcDNA3.1) vectors for 24 h; (C) HA-tagged NFATc3 and wild-type SIRT1 (SIRT1 WT) or dominant negative type (SIRT1H363Y) or control (pcDNA3.1) vectors for 24 h. HA-tagged NFATc3 was then immunoprecipitated and the acetylation of NFATc3 was assessed by western blotting using anti-acetylated lysine antibody. Total levels of NFATc3 were assessed with anti-HA antibody. The images are representative of three independent experiments.</p
