<p>Cell counts include total oligodendrocytes (Olig-2), immature/mature oligodendrocytes (CNPase), proliferating cells (Ki-67) and total microglial number (Iba-1) in the intragyral (panel A) and periventricular white matter (panel B). A significant increase in total numbers of oligodendrocytes was seen after occlusion-peptide compared to occlusion-vehicle in both the intragyral and periventricular white matter (<i>p</i><0.05).
