<p>Fundus fluorescein angiography was performed to monitor changes in the retinal vasculature over time. RCS rats showed relatively normal retinal vasculature at 8 weeks (w) of age (A) but developed vascular leakage from 12 weeks of age (B). The vascular lesions were predominantly confined to regions surrounding the optic disc and became more severe with time.</p
