The mitochondrial ROS-counteracting protein PRDX3 is decreased in NRF2i-DMA cells.

<p>(A) The sc-MDA cells were incubated with 2.5 µg/mL Pba for 6 h and then washed with PBS. The cells were incubated with MitoGreen (0.5 µM) for 15 min, and a confocal microscopic observation was performed. Green fluorescence indicates mitochondria, red fluorescence indicates cellular Pba, and yellow color indicates co-localization of mitochondria and Pba. ×100 magnification (B–C) Transcript levels of ROS-scavenging genes were measured using real-time PCR analysis for relative quantification.
