<p>Compared with mice fed the control diet, both <i>Nos2+/+</i> (open bars) and <i>Nos2−/−</i> (filled bars) mice fed the HM/LF diet exhibited elevation in plasma total homocysteine and methionine levels. 15–20 mice were studied in each group. *P<0.01 compared with mice of the same genotype fed the control diet by two-way ANOVA.</p
