DOIAbstract
<p>Groups of ten female BALB/c mice were inoculated intraperitoneally with the WT (circles), Δ<i>spxA1</i> (squares) and Δ<i>spxA2</i> (triangles) strains at a dose of 7.0×10<sup>8</sup> CFU (A), or 3.5×10<sup>8</sup> CFU (B). Survival was monitored over a 14 day period.</p
