Abstract

<p>(A–H) Cells were incubated at 15°C for 45 minutes in the presence of inhibitor without (A, C, E, G) or with (B, D, F, H) pre-treatment with the same inhibitor for 15 min at 37°C and then immunolabelled for N-acetyl-galactosaminyltransferase T2 as Golgi marker. (I, J) Quantitative analysis. Bars represent the percentage of cells showing tubules (I) and the number of tubules per cell (J) obtained after each treatment (expressed as mean ± SEM).
