<div><p>A new di-<i>C</i>-prenylated coumarin, 7-methoxy-6,8-bis-(2,3-dihydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-coumarin (<b>1</b>), together with seven known compounds, isopimpinellin (<b>2</b>), an arylbenzofuran (<b>3</b>), three flavonoids (<b>4</b>–<b>6</b>), (+)-maackianin (<b>7</b>) and echinoisoflavanone (<b>8</b>), were isolated from the leaves of <i>Sophora interrupta</i> Bedd. The structure of the new compound <b>1</b> as well as known compounds was elucidated by extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectral studies.</p></div
